REGARDING: #B4-004A Tamanu Butter

I actually have been meaning to write you so thank you for the follow up. The product is amazing and I am so happy with it. I am using it under my eyes and it has completely smoothed out the crepiness (really due to dryness) like no other product I've used. Usually on top of the tamanu butter, I put a thin layer of pure shea butter which works to seal in the tamanu I think but it would be fine as is. I have been using it morning and night and it works perfectly under makeup.
 
On Saturday, I actually told my ethestician/skin specialist about your product. She was unfamiliar with tamanu and next time I'll bring it in to show her.
 
I particularly like the mixture--the coconut oil, cocoa butter and papaya with the tamanu oil counteracts the usual strong smell that the oil has. I've previously used New Chapter True Tamanu which is the oil mixed with olive oil--after a few days I tend to react with some redness perhaps due to the olive oil and the smell is not that pleasant. Absolutely no reaction with your tamanu butter and I love the consistency, it melts into the skin. My husband (always a sucker for my skin care finds) has also been using the tamanu butter on his crows feet. While he finds it understandably oily, he has not broken out and has also noticed a softening of his skin and has continued to use it. So count us as two big fans in California!
 
While I'm sure the butter will work wonders on other parts of the body, I was particularly interested in tamanu because of the reported skin regeneration qualities I have read about--in the thin skinned eye area, I thought it would be beneficial to try as an anti aging remedy (I'm 33 and so really notice it works on my fine little lines). I have been more pleased than with any other product I have tried.
 
I'll definitely reorder and more than one container next time as I'd like to use it as a deep moisturizer on other parts of my body.

Terrific product and I've been talking it up. Will you get a U.S. distributor soon?

As of January 15, 2010, Natural Island Skin Care now has two US distribution centers. This means that product will be more readily available. Shipping time within the United States will be cut down from about 2-3 weeks to 1 week or less depending on a person's location.
